History of the College

At the beginning , St. Peters college comprised only 33 students and 3 teachers. 1926 became a land mark since the college, comprised of more than 400 students under the guidance of the head master of the school Muhandiram F. Valentine Wijerathne. Gradually the number of students increased up to 506 while the number of teachers was 14 in 1957. Presently the college comprises from grade 1-13 consisting more than 73 classes. Science, Maths, Arts and commerce streams are available for Advanced level students while conducting both Sinhala and English medium. Electronic and Computer science have become more popular subjects in the college.

Welcome to St.Peters College, Negombo, SriLanka . We all are working together to make our college a good place for all the students, teachers and everyone who involves with our school- including future students as well. 

The main motive of establishing this blog is to give all our past pupils and existing students about college's updates and prospects of the college.

We are trying our best to make our school a better place for our children and their education. You can also put your hands together with us by joining with this blog simply sharing your word with us. 

In future more activities to be done and we all need, work together as a one to make our mother Peters proud.
